Extravaganza
Lauren’s Light’s most recent fundraiser was held on April 24, 2010 at the stunning Trinity Cathedral in Miami. We had a fabulous fashion show and reception for over 100 people, many of whom were learning about Lauren’s Light for the first time. It was a great evening produced by Gladys Magazine and Manny Alonso Productions.
Lighten Up
We had a fun filled evening at the Miami Improv Club, on October 8, 2009, featuring Lisa Landry, Mo Mandel, William “Rock the House” Lewis, and emcee and Lauren’s Light supporter, Andrea Askowitz. We filled the house with over 200 people and ended the evening with a fabulous Silent Auction.
Whole Foods 5% Day
On July 1, 2009, Lauren’s Light was the beneficiary of Whole Foods Coral Gables’ “Community Giving Day,” where 5% of their profits were donated to Lauren’s Light, and we had the opportunity to meet and introduce Lauren’s Light to hundreds of new people.
Shop For A Cause
Lauren’s Light joined a group of vendors on April 28, 2009 at the Coco Plum Women’s Club for an afternoon of shopping. There were numerous vendors selling food, clothing and accessories all day, and a portion of their proceeds went to Lauren’s Light.
Moving Forward
Lauren’s Light held an exceptional evening at Coco Walk, catered by Jaguar Restaurant and Bacardi for over 200 people. Our amazing volunteers turned an empty space into a beautiful art gallery, featuring new works by Miami artist, Malvina Feinswog. County Commissioner Marc Sarnoff kicked off the evening with a donation, and our Silent Auction was top notch.
